Hi, I’m H. Tammy Cha, MSW, LCSW, a licensed psychotherapist and proud two-time graduate of the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!). I’m currently a Doctoral candidate at Tulane University (Roll Wave!) and bring over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I’m passionate about helping people feel loved, seen, accepted, and empowered as they navigate life’s challenges with resilience and clarity.

I began my career as a Clinical Social Work Fellow at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., supporting individuals through acute medical and mental health crises. I then joined MedStar Health Research Institute, where I helped expand access to Hepatitis C care for underserved communities. My work has been featured in peer-reviewed journals. Most recently, I served as Clinical Director at an outpatient recovery center, specializing in care for individuals recovering from alcohol and substance use disorders. Today, I focus fully on my private practice, where I continue to walk alongside clients in their healing journeys.

I offer virtual therapy for individuals in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Virginia. My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and rooted in evidence-based modalities such as Mindfulness-Based CBT, Brainspotting, and Socratic questioning. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to explore, grow, and heal at your own pace.

You are not alone in this journey—I’m here to walk beside you.
